Terms & Conditions
1. About ScreenA
ScreenA is a pre-treatment screening, risk assessment and compliance documentation tool for aesthetic practitioners, operated by an independent prescriber pharmacist based in the United Kingdom. By using ScreenA you agree to these terms.
2. Clinical Decision Support — Not Clinical Advice
ScreenA is a clinical decision support tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All outputs generated by ScreenA must be reviewed by a qualified and appropriately registered healthcare professional before any clinical decision is made.
The practitioner using ScreenA retains full clinical and legal responsibility for all treatment decisions. ScreenA accepts no liability for clinical outcomes resulting from the use or misuse of its outputs.
ScreenA's knowledge base is built on current clinical guidance and is maintained by a pharmacist independent prescriber. However, clinical guidelines change and individual patient circumstances vary. ScreenA should not be used as the sole basis for any clinical decision.
3. Who Can Use ScreenA
ScreenA is intended for use by registered healthcare professionals and practitioners working within the UK aesthetics sector, including nurses, doctors, dentists, and pharmacists. It is not intended for use by patients or members of the public.
By creating an account you confirm that you are a qualified practitioner with appropriate training and indemnity insurance for the treatments you intend to perform.
4. Subscription and Billing
ScreenA is offered on a monthly subscription basis at £50 per month. A 7-day free trial is available to new subscribers. Your card will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access until then.
Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. If you believe you have been charged in error please contact us at our contact page.
5. Data and Privacy
ScreenA does not store patient data. Patient information entered into the screening form is processed in real time to generate your screening report and is not retained on our servers after your session ends.
The screening report and consent record generated are saved locally to your device. You are responsible for storing and managing patient records in accordance with your professional obligations and applicable data protection legislation including UK GDPR.
We collect and store your account information (name, email address, subscription status) to operate the service. We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details please see our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual Property
The clinical knowledge base, screening logic, and all content within ScreenA are the intellectual property of ScreenA and its creator. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of ScreenA without express written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScreenA and its creator accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to clinical adverse events, regulatory action, or professional disciplinary proceedings.
ScreenA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of ScreenA after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
